- PhD: Faculty of Letters, Transylvania University of Brasov with a thesis in progress on the sociological perspective in Romanian literary criticism, an analysis of how the sociological approach had been developed inside Romanian culture and what this develpment meant for the literature. The research takes into account the reasons that have prevented the clotting of sociological propensities into a genuine direction of criticism (socio-political context, the configuration of the literary field, internal causes), but does not leave behind the analysis of all the disparate sociological events related to European criticism especially through recurrent themes and topics (author, book, literary market, censorship, literary institutions, the social status of literature etc.)
